PROCESS
1. Describe the medium or materials used in this piece of artwork-I used pencil, my finger and an eraser.
2. What steps did you take to create this art piece-I drew a small sketch of this drawing at the beginning to see what I wanted it to look like. Then, I started to draw it again on bigger paper. When I was done with the main drawing, I started to shade the trees. Next, I shaded the mountain behind the trees, and when I was done with that, I shaded the lake in front of the trees.
3. What part of the process did you enjoy the most? Why-I enjoyed shading it the most because shading really makes the image stand out and more realistic.
REFLECTION
1. What would you add? Why would you add this-I would try to add something to the water to make it look more like water. Every time I would show my picture to someone, they always thought the part in the foreground was a hill instead of water.
2. Did anything remind you about your own life-I really enjoy nature so I figured it would be fitting to draw nature.
3. Is there anything you could have done to improve your artwork? Explain-I would fix my water in the foreground to make it look more like water, and I would fix my trees so that they might look a little better.
